VENTURA, CA
– March 2007. Magnuson Products, Inc. manufacturer of
superchargers and supercharger systems for foreign and
domestic vehicles, has introduced its Magna Charger
supercharger system for 04-06 F-150 Ford Trucks with 5.4L 3V
engines. These systems use a highly effective air-to-water
intercooler for optimized performance that enhances towing,
drivability and fuel mileage.
This all-new supercharger system utilizes
the Magnuson 5th Generation MP112 hybrid roots-style
supercharger with internal bypass valve. Torque and
horsepower output is greatly improved from 1,200 rpm to
5,500 rpm, providing more “power under the curve” than any
other supercharger system available. Increases in excess of
140+ horsepower and equal increases in torque have been
verified on the Magnuson chassis dynamometer.
Ford F-150 supercharger systems are complete
with all components necessary for installation, including
the cast aluminum intake manifold, new fuel injectors and
extruded aluminum fuel rails, intercooler pump, secondary
radiator and coolant circulation pump for the air-to-water
intercooler; even factory “push-lock” connectors are
utilized for the fuel system for ease of installation.
A computer programmer is included with the
system. It communicates with the factory ECU for proper
calibration of the supercharger system. Transmission shift
points, line pressures and converter strategies on automatic
equipped vehicles are optimized to fully utilize the
increase in torque and horsepower.
